a2ruAcademic Metrics

Participate

Join the work, or use it.

Every second Wednesday at 3:00 p.m. EST / noon PST. Membership is an a2ru member benefit. Shared drives, calendars, and Zoom links stay with a2ru staff.

Who can join

Faculty, chairs, deans, and other academic leaders at a2ru member institutions, and colleagues the group invites from beyond the membership. Write to Maryrose Flanigan (Executive Director, a2ru) to ask about joining.

Guests

Non-members may attend up to two meetings. Come ready to listen to the current research question. Ongoing attendance means joining through an a2ru membership.

a2ru also offers tenure and promotion workshops and a canvas worksheet, listed under Resources. To host a Situating Creative Practice as Research workshop or an Impacts workshop, contact Veronica Stanich, Research Programs Manager, a2ru.

Ways to contribute

  • Submit an institutional practice
  • Volunteer for an interview
  • Submit a case study
  • Suggest a reading
  • Contribute a tool
  • Pilot a framework
  • Host a discussion

Case studies can be named or anonymized. A submission is reviewed before it is published. This first version has no upload form and no login. Send contributions through the Working Group’s a2ru contacts until a moderated submission path exists.

What members are asked to do

  • Read the current question before a meeting.
  • Bring a practice, a case, or a criticism the evidence can bear.
  • Separate what was observed from what the group wants to propose.
  • Help the Chair name a successor before a term ends.
